Raising the next generation

Psalm 78 teaches us that one of our great privileges is raising up the next generation to live as followers of Jesus.

Children are one of God’s great blessings, and we’re excited to partner with parents in helping them to teach their children about God’s love. In our Sunday school classes kids will have a great time while learning about the Bible in a safe environment. Our hope is for children to embrace the life God has planned for their lives.

Our strategy for helping our kids build strong spiritual foundations:

Every Sunday, we teach and explain what the Bible says through our interactive children’s lessons; each designed with your child’s growth and development in mind. Once teachers have walked through the lesson with your child they begin reinforcement learning activities either by games or crafts as a fun way for the kids to absorb what they have learned.

Sunday Morning

Here at Anthem we want you to know your child’s safety as well as their growth in their faith and understanding of God are so very important for us. This is why every Volunteer/ Servant in our Children’s wing has undergone background checks. Ensuring the safety of all our kids. For their spiritual growth in God, Anthem Kids ministry offers Children’s Sunday school lessons during both of our services with some slight differences depending on the service you choose to attend.

Service 1- Check in begins at 8:45

All Children who will be attending Anthem Kids will be checked in by parents and receive a registration tag.

Infants-Kindergarten will be taken to their classrooms while 1st-5th graders will join parents in the sanctuary for worship. Once Worship is over your children will be dismissed to the 3rd-5th grade room for a small discipling time before they go to their classroom and begin their lesson.

Once the service is over you will show your tag to the Anthem Kids desk crew to enter the Anthem kids wing and then show your tag again to pick up your child.

Service 2- Check in begins at 10:30

Similar to Service 1 All children who are checked in to attend Anthem kids will receive a registration tag. At this service 1st-5th grade children will start off in our “Purple room” for worship and a quick discipleship time. Infant-Kindergarten will go directly to their assigned classes. Four year olds through Kindergarten have their own worship time in their classroom as well.

Sunday Morning

Our Anthem Kids Sunday school time begins at 10:30 am with a special time of music. Your child will have a great time while enjoying a Bible lesson.

All our children’s volunteers undergo background checks to help ensure the safety of our kids.
