Scripture tells us that followers of Jesus are children of light, that we are the light of the world, and that we are to walk in the light. Scripture asks, ” What does light have to do with darkness?” The answer is “nothing.” The world celebrates darkness, evil, and death. That’s not our jam. We read in 1 Peter 2:9 that we are to proclaim the excellencies of God, who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

The Marvelous Light Carnival gives us an opportunity to stand boldly as people of light and life.  Join us Saturday, October 31st from 2:00 – 5:00 pm for a fun time of popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, games, etc.  Costumes are welcome but will not include witches, demons, ghosts, etc.
