a-teams
A-Teams are our small group Bible studies. “Church” is more than just a Sunday morning service. Church is a community of people helping each other to grow in their faith. The best way to make strides toward that goal is to join one of our A-Teams.
Pastor Rick's Bible Reading Plan
You’re invited to join Pastor Rick’s Bible reading plan. Each month Pastor Rick will assign Old Testament and New Testament readings.
Anthem Ladies "To Be Seen" Retreat"
Join the Anthem Ladies for a private retreat at Fort Caswell in Oak Island, NC, April 17th – 19th. We have reserved a house that can accommodate a total of 25 women. The price is $172.50 per person and includes 3 meals on Saturday and Breakfast Sunday morning. The house has a kitchen area where food can be brought for snacks, or if you want to bring dinner with you on Friday evening. Fort Caswell provides a serene beach setting at the end of Oak Island with the neighboring town of Southport just a short drive away. It’s going to be a wonderful weekend to slow down, relax with friends, and soak in God’s word as Jenny Castelli leads us in a Bible study meant to draw us closer to the God who sees us.
Potluck Dinner
On Sunday April 26th we’re having an old school potluck church dinner. Doors will open at 5pm and we’ll be eating at 6pm. Church is not a building. Church is not a worship service. Church is community. And what better way is there to build community than for us to enjoy a meal together.
Please SIGN UP so we know how many to expect. If you’re able, we ask that you bring something to share: a main dish, side dish or dessert. Plates, utensils, napkins, cups, drinks will be provided.
Please plan on being part of the church dinner. It will be a fun night and there’ll be some good eats! This will help us carbo-load so that we may live for Glory & Beauty!
