The Marvelous Light Carnival

Scripture tells us that followers of Jesus are children of light, that we are the light of the world, and that we are to walk in the light. Scripture asks, ” What does light have to do with darkness?” The answer is “nothing.” The world celebrates darkness, evil, and death. That’s not our jam. We read in 1 Peter 2:9 that we are to proclaim the excellencies of God, who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. For that reason, on Saturday, October 25th, from 4 – 6 PM, we’re hosting our first-ever Marvelous Light Carnival. We want to offer a time for families and children that is safe from scary and dark themes. Children can dress up (there’s nothing wrong with dressing up), but their costumes will not include witches, demons, ghosts, etc. 

We will have popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, games, and a bouncy house. It will be a fun time! 

The Marvelous Light Carnival gives us an opportunity to stand boldly as people of light and life.
