Pastor Rick’s Bible Reading Plan
The best Bible reading plan is the one that you actually stick to. With the new year, lots of people begin a bible reading plan. Often, it’s a read-through-the-bible-in-a-year plan. That’s great if a person sticks to it, but too often those people abandon the plan because that amount of daily reading is difficult. Further, reading that much that fast often doesn’t allow our heart to engage well with the Scriptures we’re reading.
With that, you’re invited to join Pastor Rick’s 2025 reading plan. Each month Pastor Rick will assign Old Testament and New Testament readings.
Here’s what to do:
- Pray for God to open your heart to His Word.
- Read the passages as slowly and thoughtfully as possible.
- Highlight key thoughts in your Bible and/or make notes in the margin.
- (optional but recommended) Journal out 5-10 sentences about what you read.
- Try to keep up daily so that you don’t have to cram at the end of the month.
It’s 2025. It’s time to Increase & Abound in our walk with Jesus.
